Female chaffinch

Another bird shot I'm afraid - it was tat or another blip of snow falling. I had a feeder with seeds in it that the birds didn't seem to be interested in so I emptied the seeds onto the snow so that I could wash the feeder - that's as exciting as my world is just now.

Food on the ground is attracting more birds including a few chaffinches, magpies, the local robins and a wagtail during the brief time I spent watching.
