A Wonderful Birthday

March 1 is my birthday and my hubby and I had a fun afternoon.  We went to new Casino that is north of us in Ridgefield, WA.  We'd never been there before, so it was fun checking it out and doing a little bit of gambling.  Not much, but enough to say we'd tried it out.  Then we went to the Ridgefield NWR and this eagle was sitting there on these branches, in the lake, posing for passersby. What a neat thing to see.  I have to struggle to get a shot that's in focus, but for me and my camera and lens, this isn't too bad.  I am happy to share my Flickr photos with you if you want to pop on over to them.  You can see the Refuge photos and then the ones I took at the Casino.  Hope you all are having a good day.  Fun to see all the snow pictures coming out of Europe.   Tomorrow I continue my birthday celebrations with the rest of my family with dinner out.  Hope you like the eagle.
