There were no takers for these picnic tables by the lake today. 

A disturbed night with a lot of wind noise. Then, within hours of getting up I had internet problems again, got a text from Sainsbury's saying that my Aunt's order had been cancelled due to adverse weather conditions, and my husband discovered a water leak from the gas central heating/water boiler. Internet is now stable again, grocery order rescheduled for Monday and hopefully leak temporarily sorted until the service in 10 days. 

One of us had to go to the shops for veg so I volunteered. I walked (and slid) as far as the Youth Hostel where I got this photo and called in at Tesco on the way back. Then ages spent in the kitchen making chicken and mushroom pies.
