Clearing After the Storm

What a treat after several dull days and snow all day today, the sky has cleared and the alpenglow is picking out the ridges of the big mountains above the Glacier des Grands towards Chamonix. It is strange to think that we cannot approach these mountains at the moment as a huge landslide a couple of months ago is till being cleared near Trient.
