Spider's Web

When I got up to go to work this morning, it was misty and the car windows were covered in dew. I got out the scraper, and used the soft rubber side of it to clear the moisture from the windows.

As I did so, I noticed this spider's web, spun between the passenger's door mirror and the body of the car. I pointed the camera such that it was looking down at the web, onto the black of the car behind, then shot this macro picture.

Since then, the picture has had some levels, a bit of noise reduction, cropping and sharpening - that's all.

Each little "pearl" is a drop of water, the threads are the web itself.

Every time I think that I have found everything that this amazing little camera can do, it finds another way to surprise me!
