Facing into the wind

Thank you so much for all the hearts and stars for yesterday's image. Although there's been less snow today, the wind was much stronger, making it feel absolutely bitter outside. These gulls were hunkered down on the edge of the ice, all facing directly into the wind - ensuring that they presented the minimum surface are to its chill and avoiding getting their feathers ruffled. I didn't stay out for long - my fingers wouldn't let me!
