Snow day!

Woke to the news from The Other-half that school was closed, I had to double check emails and texts because he has been winding me up all week about it! He tried to get to work despite my reservations and I am not ashamed to say I smiled smuggly when he called to say he had to turn back.
I decided to use time wisely and work on my essay but the excitement of snow was distracting! I'm such a child! We made a pact with work friends that we would venture for a drink early afternoon.
We were still in the pub when we received confirmation in the evening of a second snow day- and it went downhill from there!
