My Dear Fellows & Dear Princess Normal,

Isn't this a RUBBISH picture? I'm sorry. I tried my best but I'm rubbish under pressure. I dick around with my phone but inevitably it's stuck on the wrong setting or something.

Also, this was taken in the back of a taxi that was about to drive off. Which didn't help.

Er Indoors & me went to see "Black Panther" at the pictures. I enjoyed it, but it wasn't my favourite Marvel film. I think it was too serious, although it looked lovely. I definitely prefer the more light-hearted ones.

But that aside we had lots of fun at the cinema. We went into "Gold Class" which means you get reclining seats. We also got "Choc Tops" which are a big thing here. They are like regular ice-cream cones but with a choccy coating. I have to have one whenever I go to the pictures.

On leaving the cinema, Wellington looked lovely in the late summer evening. It really is a very pretty city when the nights close in and the lights go on.

Everyone here keeps asking me about how you are all coping with the snow by the way. I reminded them that the British press can be a little hugely effing bloody ridiculously hysterical about these things, but still they are concerned. One woman proudly showed me a video of when it snowed in Wellington. In 2011.

(It wasn't even that thick. But I didn't like to say).

I do hope you are all doing well. More than that, I hope you're enjoying the snow, getting out there and running around in it in big boots then going home and making big tureens of soup. Yum. Crusty rolls and squash soup.

I wish it was snowing here. Or better yet, I wish I could be there with you. We would make snowmen and I'd put a carrot in a comedy place.

On the snowman.

Just to be clear.

S.
