Armageddon Days Are Here (Again)
Of course I am not referring to Putin's new invincible weapon... it is snow day #3?
Yesterday I referred to "that great winter of 2001" but after today, it's going to be "that great winter of 2018"... it's still going, non-stop.
The main blip was Ms H while the sun broke out and we did some clearing paths and sledging but after we stopped, armadeddon broke out again. I've got carried away with extras too...
#1 the patio filling up nicely
#2 a tree weighed down by this snow (I did clear it but it has filled up again)
#3 Ms H in front of the snow tsunami heading for the house
#4 temperatures must have rose for water to form icicle spears
#5 Ms H battling her way back from my favourite view
#6 the snow tsunami having advanced a few metres by 11pm
I had tried to feed the birds today but think they got about an hour's worth of feeding in, I reckon the feeder will be submerged tomorrow. I still can't tell if it is snowing or blizzarding, but the fields above the snow tsunami are almost bare.
Some years ago, where the snow tsunami is, I remember a similar snow tsunami and I had fun channeling out paths for the cats, with tunnels and bridges, Ms H loved it... the cats were not so fussed, but I can't wait to get stuck in again :-)
