I realised how easy it would be to disappear under this lot and no distance from habitation. It made me think of the Greens of Grasmere - the parents who went across to Langdale to a sale in the 1800's, leaving the children at home in Easedale, Grasmere. They never returned - lost in a blizzard. One of the children had to follow the line of the top of the wall to go and get help.
