Frozen Manchester

I'd been invited to a meeting at Victoria Baths this afternoon and I had other things to do in Manchester too, so I went into the city on the train this morning.  It was cold!

The cold wasn't so bad really - you just wear the right gear - but the wind coupled with icy pavements; now that was fun!  Fortunately I'd decided to forego fashion, and I was wearing my hiking gear, including boots.

The main blip is frozen canals at Castlefield.  The extra is Piccadilly Gardens in the centre of Manchester.
