A very Special Box.

When I showed Mum my Blip from earlier in the week of the pin cushion that my Grandmother had made, she was reminded of another special thing made in leather by my Grandmother.  For Mum's twenty first birthday, Dad bought her a turquoise brooch and earrings, and his Mum made this special leather box to put them in. I love the details, the hand stitching, the little flowers and the heart shaped fastening and Mum has kept it for all these years.
