Looking after our feathered friends

lots of birds on & near the feeders today trying their best to find enough to eat & drink. I topped up all the feeders just before the beast arrived & today we had a food shop delivered. Shoulder / arm still playing up and weak so nothing for me to do other than staying in & keeping warm. The furthest I went today was to the gate to put the bin out (see extra for a street view).

Two people we knew well passed away today - they were; Mum's friend Kath from Edgcott who was almost 100, and my sister's father in law Chris who was eighty something and suffering from dementia & a bad case of pneumonia. Both good folks, now resting in peace.

A raw bitterly cold day with some heavy snow which is still blowing around in the icy wind.
