Steps in the snow

I didn't venture very far today, but instead was glued to my machine, confined to my study at home. A welcome diversion mid-afternoon was Véronique, who called round with a cake that Tzippi made for us. Mr hazelh cleared the steps (blipped) before her visit.

Tomorrow we're meant to be travelling to Liverpool by train to spend the weekend with Helen (travelling up from Cardiff) and Sarah (flying over from the Isle of Man). Whether or not we even set off on this adventure very much depends on whether any trains are able to cross the border tomorrow afternoon. We'll see. A quiet, cosy weekend at home may be the more attractive option...
