Not nice ice

Although I'm liking the snowy walks it has become increasingly apparent that Jess in uncomfortable.  Too much fluff between her toes means that the snow and ice stick there and form hard balls.  She spent much of this morning's walk trying to bite them out.

Spectacular swirls of snow had been formed along the path I walk by the wind and it was bitterly cold.  College was cancelled so Sam was delighted when he woke to that unexpected news.  Ben stayed in bed all day after having gone out clubbing in Cambridge to celebrate Will's birthday and Martin drove back early from Andover so got home from work even before me 

At least James is not travelling anywhere in Durham, and everyone else is safely in Linton plus also stranded Ellie, Ben's girlfriend, who happily didn't even attempt the journey back to Norwich in these icy conditions.
