Snow Day!!

I had set off in my wellies when I received notice that school was indeed closed due to the extreme weather conditions! So it was back home to get changed and get on with a snow day. I spent the morning doing some school work, why not get ahead a little whilst you can? 

The afternoon made way for a trek through the snow to get some supplies as I was running low on milk and a few other bits and bobs. Never had a supermarket trip been such an adventure with wicked winds that made it feel raw and huge snow drifts to climb over. 

I'd just got out of a hot shower and packed my backpack ready to make tracks to school tomorrow when my phone pinged to say we'd be closed tomorrow too!! 

A snow day, literally in a way, falls from the sky like a thing of wonder.
