Soft Snow Sculptures

I love how the wind softly sculpts the snow. We've watched fine blizzards across our garden; the wind's strong, over 60mph, but the snow flakes are very fine, creating mini drifts, beautifully curvy. Lots of birds visited the nuts and seeds and I kept doing kettle dashes to liquify the frozen water for them to drink.

My eye-appointment was cancelled today - all out-patient clinics closed. I imagine a fair few operations will have been cancelled, too. Now wondering if this will have a knock-on effect and delay Mr PP's hip replacement. Ah, well. We shall see. We're feeling lucky to have got home safely, and with the larder restocked, before we became house-bound.
