Brief Respite

To say it has rained all day is hardly doing it justice.

The rain didn't so much fall as drive sideways on the fierce winds down the valley past my windows. There was a bit of thunder and lightening to herald its arrival and then it continued more less non-stop until just now.

Jacqui had taken the rest of the week off and we managed to get a brief walk with Duke in the woods earlier, in between squalls.

Now the sky has cleared for a while, but more is forecast for tomorrow.

And we were hoping to go to Ronda for the day.

We'll see.
