Valentine's Day

Dad took mum her valentines card to open in hospital.

Things started to look up a bit today as the fluid in her lungs in decreasing. She's had scans and xrays and physio.

The nursing staff are just brilliant. How they cope with their 12 hour shifts making sure ill, frustrated, worried patients are cared for is beyond me.

I'm paid more than these nurses for a job that does NOT save lives, does NOT care for others, does NOT make peoples lives better and does NOT make a difference. And I managed to to all this in a daily 7 hour shift, a whole 5 hours less than a nurse.
