The Incinerator, Allington

Very bleak today - freezing cold with a viciously biting wind and, to top it all, not a hint of sunshine or warmth. So today's shot summed all that up perfectly - the chimney of the local incinerator puffing it's fumes into the atmosphere. It was almost as if it was making the sky even greyer! To complete the picture this is just a few yards from the roundabout for the M20 motorway.
The other thing I learnt today was how bloody drafty my house is - the wind has seemed to seep through the windows and the front door. I'm wearing four thick layers and I'm still bloody cold!
