Proceed with care

I have just returned from a walk and inspected the road which was blocked this morning.  The wind is producing blizzard conditions and with no hedges or trees to stop the snow being blown off the fields, the drifts are covering the roads as fast as they are cleared. I chopped some kindling this morning and did the accounts but will now enjoy the fire.  Needless to say the tonight's badminton match tonight has been called off, as was last night's.
