Valiant

What a day! Snow, blizzards and incredible wind - wild indeed and very dramatic. We had deep snow, now we have even deeper snow, together with impressive drifts, as the wind throws the snow around with great force.

This morning Gordon braved the blizzards to feed the birds - well the Blackbirds were knocking on the window so he hadn't much choice! You can see the depth of the snow and the drifts and the snow being blown across. You can see the snow that has been blown onto the window - we can hardly see out of any window now. Of course the place that he cleared is now covered again. We decided not to try and get the car out! (Ignore the lamp post that appears to be coming out of his head - we haven't managed to get rid of it yet - but it will be going)

A beautiful sourdough loaf appeared out of the oven this morning - just delicious - his best yet. (see extra)
