beast from the east day 4

And it just keeps getting worse! When will it end?! Mum and I braved the blizzards this morning to walk to our local shops for essentials (bread, milk, chocolate!) and are still thawing out now! Supplies were scarce down there so glad we got there early! The local shops have all sold out of sledges too since the schools are all still shut - one shop was selling them for £20 as they only had 10 and as those who got lucky buying them were leaving, one parent who missed out was offering £50 to buy theirs!! Crazy!!

This blackbird has been my best friend in the garden today as I keep topping up the bird tables and he's first one in for new supplies! Keep losing the battle with keeping the water on the bird bath from freezing over so need to keep breaking that ice!
