Snowmageddon

The snow fell thick and fast this afternoon, after days of news reports warning not to travel and the first Met Office red alert fir snow issued to our area, we were quite surprised to find my inlaws on our doorstep. They had decided to go shopping in Edinburgh today of all days, totally ignored everything that was happening around them, and cane to us for lunch. They carried on their merry way but unfortunately the trains were cancelled and the buses full. So they spent a good hour slowly making their way back to us to stay the night. There is no sign of the snow letting up anytime soon!
