Harling

The brick shed in the garden is receiving a coating on to the bare brick. D, is applying the top coat of sanded cement on top of the scratch coat underneath. The horizontal lines of the scratch coat make it a little more interesting as a blip. Then he applies the stone chips on top as the final cement coat to cover the bare brick.

This is also known as roughcasting. So all will be nice and waterproof for the winter.
