Snow day

A planned rest day today, as the snow had been accurately forecast for a while. We had to drag ourselves to the shop by 10am to hand back the rented gear, and later TallGirl and I shopped for the next few days.

Then an easy ride of lunch, games, reading, snoozing, long conference calls (Mr B) and Robinson Crusoe homework (CarbBoy). After a pasta dinner, card games where (turns out) CarbBoy and I make majestic whist partners, TallGirl just doesn't get cards, and all my family shuffle upside down.

Earlier, the kids thought it would be fun to put a foot each out in the snow. Turns out it was just cold.

Tomorrow, shins permitting, there will be skiing.
