Empty Platform
Slept heavily but once up we ventured out, very cold, windy, but bright in between some light flurries, nothing to cause any problems in this area of the country.
After dropping a parcel in the Post Office, we called into the café for a coffee, we decided to stay on for lunch as it was nice and cosy indoors.
When we did head home it was definitely colder still, the wind was bitingly cold. One home we had a few chores to tend to, then I popped out again to get this blip, not quite what I had had in mind, but not too many trains to chose from. I had wanted to try and capture a speeding train, but this stopper sufficed, especially as the setting sun was reflected in the window.
We are supposed to be driving to Southampton tomorrow, 230 miles, not sure what we are going to do yet, will see what morning brings...but we have had a couple of heavier snow showers this evening. Its our nieces 40th tomorrow and hubs birthday Saturday. We are all supposed to be going out for a meal together.......maybe we will delay until Saturday ?!
