Feel no fret

The strings were due a change. The label in the soundhole reminded me the guitar is 20 years old this year - commissioned from Otis Tomas, a marvellous luthier living in the backwoods (literally) of Nova Scotia, who I met there 21 years ago when I went to visit him to see how Anna Massie’s fiddle was coming along (that wasn’t the only reason for visiting Cape Breton) - he had a fine bit of exotic wood available at the time and we agreed he would create something fine from it. Which he did. And for which I’m eternally grateful
