Snow Day

Well the beast came and bit me on the bum, my plans for the day suspended on safety grounds. We walked the dogs in mixed conditions along a frozen canal, abandoning it when in one of the wind surges a falling branch just missed Mrs A S. At that point we felt it wise to reschedule our planned trip to Helmsley for afternoon tea at the Black Swan. 
The weather has not eased that much, no great depth of snow but drifting in the wind and heavy showers topping up what was blowing away. 
Indian take away for a quiet meal in.
