Lit up

Waiting for our son to arrive (31 minutes late - 50% refund !!) from London. Just before midnight so better blip than anything I’d managed to get during the day.

Mainly at Scottish Government discussing Getting it Right in the Children’s Hearings system: information sharing; better hearings; revised blueprint.

Then an afternoon meeting on youth justice where we discussed similar issues through the prism of youth justice. There are some fundamental approaches - early dentification, prevention, early intervention, personalised targeted support and meaningful relationships, with agreed measures for making a positive difference that run across all work with children and young people.

The more we align these approaches across specialisms the better it will be.

Back to the office, late departure and hospital visit (no more news) then home for dinner at 21:15.
