The Nut Wins The Day

I came across this little squirrel while walking through a churchyard and though it looked up nervously as I approached, it was reluctant to abandon the nut it was eating and so stood its ground for my camera.

The leaves are falling fast here now and with colder, windier weather forecast, they could all go in a few days. So - note to self - must walk through some more parks before the chance to blip more autumn colours is gone for another year.
