Save it for another day

I was due to give a talk this evening at a local "Ladies Group" about working in Romania in 2002-2004 as they prepared to enter into the EU. Mid morning I phoned the organiser to say, "Please don't go ahead with this evening, I don't want to speak to 4 or 5 people. And the older ladies certainly shouldn't be out in such weather."

Just after lunch she cancelled the meeting having phoned round to most of the regulars. So I continued putting the finishing touches to my talk and having a lovely time going down memory lane. Now the talk is all packed away ready to present in a couple of months.

A bit more snow here, still not as much as most areas. But it is very cold. Even the cats don't want to go out.
