Cat poem at the ladies!

We had our Friday group today!  Much less tiring for me without Grandbaby!  Not many of us there which was actually quite nice too!  When my friend's grandchildren came out of school they joined us.  After eating, the youngest did colouring and the eldest did this drawing and wrote a cat poem with all the ladies helping!!

When my friend collected the youngest from school yesterday the teacher prompted her: 'Have you told your grandma what we have in school?'
'We have 6 duckling eggs!'
'And what are we using to keep them warm as we haven't got a mummy duck to sit on them?   ......  An in....cu...'
'An incubator!  Will they be there tomorrow?'
'No it takes 4 weeks.'
'So will they be there tomorrow?'
'No that's 28 days.  Count up to 28: 1...2...3.....28.  That many sleeps!'
When they arrived home my friend prompted her to tell her parents: 
'What have you got in school?'
The child thought a minute:- '6 duckling eggs!'
'And what are you putting them in to keep them warm?'
A moment's thought and a pleased smile that she had remembered:- 'An Alligator!'
