A night out!

On a school night no less! Today the CBSO were in town so after dancing we trotted off into the city. Katie was super excited to go to a concert with B. It was a brilliant programme. She absolutely loved Night on a Bare Mountain. The clarinet solo was fantastic. In the interval we went to talk to B’s daughter, which was lovely. Also fabulous was that Amanda had arranged for the CBSO principal clarinet to come see Katie. He’s her favourite clarinetist and she was quite adorably starstruck to meet Oli. I thought she’d sleep the second half but she fought sleep and watched the entire thing!
