Winter storm

We have had snow flurries all of and on all day but this evening as I drove home after Book Club I was aware of a threatening presence swooping in behind me from the North East and as I got home this really quite heavy fall started. The snow is currently blowing sideways down the street! Waiting now to see if tomorrow is declared a snow day or not!
N has driven down to B'ham area for his retiral lunch with his colleagues and finish work tomorrow which is his birthday. It is a bit doubtful however whether he'll make it back tomorrow night.......time will tell.
