Escaping Winter’s Jaws

There was nothing slimy on the frozen ground this morning at home. With only a few minutes to spare before my flight, I snapped a dozen-ish photos of ice crystals on leaves and sedum.

Now as I sit in the Denver airport, this captures how I feel with a whole week of sunshine and warmth ahead in Palm Desert.

“Sunlight is the best disinfectant.”
