Many thanks for the stars and hearts for yesterday's entry. 

What a difference a day makes! We woke to snow this morning - the so-called 'beast from the east' seems to be tiptoeing in to north Northumberland. If the forecast is to be believed, it will hit with full force over the next couple of days when it's predicted to be colder, much windier and with lots more snow! We shall see...

Anyway, it's the second of 2 days' annual leave, so I joined MrM and Louie (extra) for a lovely, snowy morning walk. The two horses insisted on posing for a view over Wooler to Doddington Moor!

Back home to warm up and complete some paperwork ready for an appointment in Alnwick this afternoon. There were a few brief snow flurries on the way there and the roads were relatively clear, but as we left, a couple of hours later, it was snowing hard...
