Making the most of the snow!!

We don’t often have snow in Guernsey, so when we do the Island almost grinds to a halt. I know of many people who had difficulties today, but for lots of us it was Fun!! This is my neighbours house, and extra is Eithan and Pa building a Snowman. So much giggling and delight and that was Granny and Pa, but of course Eithan and Rafe enjoyed it too, and Mummy. We finished up our time together with Homemade Lasagne and while the oven was on I did homemade Rice Pudding too.
All primary schools were closed, not certain about High-Schools I think they were too. It was very quiet along our road as most people walked early on, the snow cleared a fair bit, only to start again. The gardens were stunning. We have to be grateful to the bus drivers, Hospital, Nursing homes, Police and Emergency people, and many others who walked or had a difficult day. And for others of us, we had fun.
