TUB HUNTING...THE THRONE ROOM

I seem to be one of the fortunate people here in Nanchang to have a bath-tub in my home...but like most things its not a cast iron tub...its plastic and needs to be replaced...so out we go hunting...Don't really know where in the city to go to find the tub...
Here in Nanchang many things are simple...very simple...the bathrooms are just tiled closets with a shower head...sometimes only a bucket of water...and a squat toilet...not like these high tech toilets here in my photo...with heated seats and remote controllers, made me laugh...i guess i am not a toilet connoisseur...people here are not used to sitting and it is not uncommon to see shoe prints on the bowl of a sit-down toilet...
In the end...after hours of looking at tubs, hot-tubs, simple to the grand monarch of tubs, sinks, toilets, urinals... different colors, plastic and iron...even in home saunas...soooo much for the affluent Chinese home owner...it gave me a headache...and still no tub...(photo by Iain Dewar)
