When Fergus went to Dundee
We decided to take Fergus with us on a weekend trip and see how he got on travelling and staying away from home for a couple of nights.
First stop Inverary so we could all have a walk and a breath of air. Fergus was quietening down in the car.
Then we stopped just after Tyndrum at the Artisan cafe for lunch. Fergus stayed in the car. He seemed fine with travelling so far and this was roughly half way.
Next stop was at Glendoick garden centre, just East of Perth. The cafe there is good. The we made the last run into Dundee and to our hotel. We had found a small, dog friendly hotel and were very pleased with the big light room we got with a great view over the Tay. The owner was an interesting chatty character to say the least, and on the Saturday when we arrived definitely seemed to have had a gin or two. Fergus explored the room and enjoyed looking out of the big bay window while we unpacked.
To give Fergus a good walk we walked from the hotel into the town centre. We looked at the shops along the way and later we found a dog friendly Pizza restaurant where we watched the end of the Scotland v England 6 nations rugby match. Fergus behaved very well in the restaurant, and afterwards we walked back out to our hotel.
