Sparrowhawk

Todays visitor sat on the fence for a few moments this morning just managed a few snaps before it flew away.This is definitely a predator and I did see it catch a chaffinch mid air later on in the morning. Tough to see but it needs to eat too and it was incredible to see it’s speed and agility.
A slight covering of snow this morning that has disappeared in the sunshine.
