We stopped in Bad Hersfeld on our travels today where the sun was shining and a huge folk festival - Lullusfest was taking place. I managed to sneek two candy floss sticks before we started to play! This festival is apparently "known for being Germany's oldest folk festival." It had a huge Ferris wheel. Many rides. Loads of food stalls as well as ones with games. Many euros were used to win me a small monkey with a banana hat!!

This was also a feature at the Festival. Children throwing chestnuts into an open fire while they pop everywhere...! It was magical to watch...
