timing

woke up with a nasty stomach bug
managed to get Meatbag off to luxury spa accomodation,
picked up my birthday present from my Mum from the post office depot (my family are good at being late or hugely early!)
made it to the airport with only one emergency stop at the Gyle
flew to Cardiff
picked up Avis Car
met Shandonner in Bridgend
drove out to Kilgetty for the weekend

not the best way to start a weekend :-(
