Fog

Depart Southampton one hour late.
Circle Edinburgh for 40 minutes making little forays in the direction of the runway..
Head for Glasgow, where we are told we have "dropped in unexpectedly" and all the ground staff have gone home. Can we be got off? Or should we refuel and have another stab at Edinburgh.
Eventually the captain decides enough is enough. Off we get. "Coaches will be provided" After an hour of that not happening, my party of 11 grabbed four taxis and hurtled along the M8. Arrived home - 2 am!
