The Project: day 1

Yesterday I said that I have a project to focus on this week in the evenings. It will help me transition towards Jasper's arrival.

I'm fighting off cold bugs and aren't up to much outside of work, and I don't want to mope around. Grieve yes but constructively. The answer for me is a project I can focus on.

Tonight I've busted out one box creation featuring a cube shaped box and a t-shirt. My old 'Brains' Thunder Birds t-shirt no less.

Another box creation is underway. It involves cutting, folding, and gluing. It's in the lounge at a certain stage where clothes pegs are holding glued bits in place. It will take at least another evening depending on if I can get the next gluing done and dried within an evening and still have enough time to continue construction.

Benedict would love the boxes, bits being cut, the mess, adding to the mess, testing the glue, and generally getting in the way. I guess in a way it's focusing the love of knowing what he'd be like into my box creations for the next little fella.

Today's gratitude: For a stress free car WOF and service. One of my neighbours is a mechanic. He took my car to his work today and I bussed to work. Sorted.
