The beast from the east

Out walking today in bitter wind which caused my eyes to sting and weep!  This is what was heading my way.. l walked as far as l dared and then headed home determined not to be caught in the offload from this baby.  I made it with a about 10 minutes to spare ... phew!  I planned to head north to see my daughter this weekend.. but l think the weather is looking increasingly unpleasant so perhaps it might not be wise.. l am not going to take a decision just yet...
