Waiting on the Beast

Out and about today I couldn't help noticing the extensive, early pavement salting; we're well prepared as usual, bring on that snow.

Thought I'd drop into the Modern Art Galleries this afternoon on the way back from some tenpin practice but 1 was closed for building work and the New Era exhibition in 2 wasn't open because the ticket booth was closed. Really, there wasn't a single person in the whole gallery that knew how to sell someone a ticket. I consoled myself with the Surrealists and another look at Paolozzi's studio. The extra is of a 24 year-old newspaper with what could be today's headlines. Sad.
