A View to Ramna Geo
A wonderful calm day, and the whole of Shetland has been basking in glorious sunshine. Think we may be the warmest in the UK today, up to 10 degrees at midday. It soon cooled down after sunset.
A day off work, and woke early with the sun shining. After breakfast, me and Sammy headed out around Scalloway for a walk, and back home to get on with chores. Picked up friend Julie and her dog Keba, and we met mam for lunch in Cunningsburgh. We then all headed to Maywick with the dogs, and a beach clean. Beach number two was St Ninians, and wonderful in the sunshine. After tea, I headed to work a shift in the pub, finished early and feet up. Sammy is knackered tonight, as he was off the lead at both beaches and spent hours charging about, fast asleep now.
I was amazed at our beach clean today, it was mostly all micro plastic we gathered! Two more bags off the beach and won't return to the ocean. After we cleaned, we went for a brisk walk up the Trebs, and the view is always worth it. And what a view this house has of the cliffs at Ramna Geo. Taken from the Trebs, looking down onto houses at Maywick and Ramna Geo behind.
