MonoMonday 214: 'On the Table'

Stone Crabs are in season here in Florida from Oct 15 until May 15. But we 'Natives' just say "The 'R' months!" The crab is trapped and only one claw is taken so that the animal can defend itself as it regrows it's claw which takes about one year. These tasty crabs are therefor a 'Renewable' resource. At least that's the 'theory', it's unknown how many crabs actually survive long enough to regrow their claw. I like them cold with cocktail sauce!
