Roedean

We've had a few snow flurries today, although it's not amounted to much, but Brighton is on a yellow warning and we're supposed to get snow overnight. I can't believe how cold it is though, I went for a quick walk along the seafront at lunch time, but couldn't stay out in it for long.

Today's blip is of Roedean Girls School, which I've blipped from a distance before, but as I passed tonight on my way home, the sun was lighting it up so I decided to pull over and get a closer shot - I think it's a fabulous building.

There's not much else to report today apart from the fact that I've ordered a second hand 35-100mm F4/5.6 lens (equivalent to a 70-200mm) and perfect to bridge the gap from my 24-32mm and 75-300mm.  I've bought it from mpb.com who are an online shop based in Brighton that buy and sell second hand cameras and lenses.  I'm really impressed with them as I ordered it yesterday and they emailed me this morning asking me to give them a call.  Basically, because I've not shopped with them before and because I put my work address as the delivery address, they wanted to go through a lot of security questions to make sure that it was me that had made the order.  They even asked me what camera I'd got to make sure the lens is compatible   Anyway, it's now been dispatched and will be delivered tomorrow.
